Star anise makes up most of it, very clearly sweet and spicy; pink pepper follows with light, slightly floral spice; mandarin adds a touch of sweet freshness at the end. A bold spice scent for the kitchen and large living rooms at the end of the year. Mix a bottle ahead but take only 3–4 drops each time, since star anise is very strong; first-timers can add more mandarin to the bottle for a softer scent.

On opening. Pink pepper (lightly spicy, sparkling and berry-like); mandarin (gently sweet, softer than orange) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Star anise (sweet and warm, reminiscent of pho broth and Tet sweets) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
