slow down a little

4 oils · Floral · Herbal · Woody · code BL-0164

Lots of lavender creates a clean herbal base, rosemary contributes a fresh, green, sharp note, ylang-ylang adds sweet yellow flowers, and sandalwood closes with smooth, creamy wood. The scent balances fresh and warm, perfect for the living room in the late afternoon or a reading corner. For a regular diffuser, use 2, 1, 1 and 1 drops; just turn it on, brew some tea, and give yourself half an hour with no plans.

How it unfolds

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use slow down a little in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 3 · Rosemary 2 · Ylang Ylang 2 · Sandalwood 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or Roman chamomile — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use slow down a little?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
