rush-hour traffic jam

4 oils · Floral · Herbal · Minty · code BL-0696

Stuck in rush-hour traffic, dust, fumes and nonstop honking. Four drops of lavender make a soft floral base, peppermint blows in a cool, minty stream, Roman chamomile adds sweet apple, and basil sprinkles in sweet, spicy green leaf. Good for the moment you wheel the scooter into the house. Turn on the diffuser in the living room, wash your face, change clothes, then sit down and take a few very slow breaths.

How it unfolds

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow); basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use rush-hour traffic jam in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 3 · Peppermint 2 · Roman Chamomile 2 · Basil 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use rush-hour traffic jam?
Turn it on when your head feels tight: before a meeting, after a long day, or when you need a few minutes to settle.
