rose-tinted glasses

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · Woody · code BL-1674

Everything looks adorable: that's the feeling of this blend. Soft, sweet rose opens, bergamot adds a bit of brightness, and sandalwood supports it underneath with a smooth, creamy woody layer. Great for slow afternoons at home, journaling or wrapping a little gift for someone. Run the diffuser in a room of about 12–15 m²; add one drop of bergamot on muggy days for a more airy scent.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Rose (deep, silky and luxurious) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Rose 4 · Sandalwood 3 · Bergamot 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Rose 2 · Sandalwood 2 · Bergamot 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Rose 13 · Sandalwood 10 · Bergamot 7 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use rose-tinted glasses in a diffuser?
Add Rose 4 · Sandalwood 3 · Bergamot 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of rose?
Swap rose for lavender or geranium — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: lavender is floral-herbal, clean and soothing.
When is the best time to use rose-tinted glasses?
Made for date nights, candlelit dinners and private spaces; switch it on 15 minutes before anyone arrives.
