Eighteen drops of frankincense open formally like the lobby of a grand old hotel, sandalwood is warm and smooth, bergamot fresh and clean, then rose and jasmine close discreetly and elegantly. Luxury that doesn't need to show off; only the observant will notice. Mix the 53-drop batch in a bottle and rest it a week; wear it as perfume in a roller bottle for special evenings.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Rose (deep, silky and luxurious); jasmine (white-floral, sweet, heady and alluring) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still); sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
