quietly cool

3 oils · Floral · Herbal · Minty · code BL-0178

Not loud, but cool in its own way. Roman chamomile opens sweet and gentle like apple tea, spearmint adds a cool, sweet, mint-candy note, and one drop of fennel chips in a slightly sweet herbal touch, unusual but lovely. A light blend, perfect for your desk in the afternoon. For a more noticeable cool, raise spearmint to 3 drops; for something softer, leave out the fennel.

How it unfolds

On opening. Spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow); fennel (sweet and herbal with a little anise) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use quietly cool in a diffuser?
Add Roman Chamomile 3 · Spearmint 2 · Fennel 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of Roman chamomile?
Swap Roman chamomile for lavender or geranium — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: lavender is floral-herbal, clean and soothing.
When is the best time to use quietly cool?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
