quiet type, great taste

3 oils · Citrus · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-1971

Three drops of fresh, clean bergamot start the conversation, two drops of warm frankincense resin carry it on, and one drop of deep earthy patchouli closes it. A scent of few words but great taste, like someone reading in the corner of a cafe who makes everyone curious. Great in a roller bottle for work or coffee alone. Mix the six drops in a 10 ml bottle; add more frankincense for a warmer, deeper scent.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still); patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Bergamot 3 · Frankincense 2 · Patchouli 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Bergamot 2 · Frankincense 2 · Patchouli 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Bergamot 15 · Frankincense 10 · Patchouli 5 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use quiet type, great taste in a diffuser?
Add Bergamot 3 · Frankincense 2 · Patchouli 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of bergamot?
Swap bergamot for lemon or sweet orange — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use quiet type, great taste?
Diffuse it in a room, or mix a roller to dab on your wrists (diluted in a carrier oil).
