post-holiday restart

3 oils · Herbal · Woody · Warm spice · code BL-2759

The holidays are over, your desk is dusty and your head is still foggy. Cedarwood sets a sturdy dry wood base, cinnamon adds a bit of warm spice to wake you up, and a drop of tea tree keeps the air clean and tidy. Good for the home office or study corner on your first day back in the routine. Run the diffuser while you clear your desk; for more alertness, add 1 drop of tea tree.

How it unfolds

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Cedarwood 4 · Cinnamon 2 · Tea Tree 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Cedarwood 3 · Cinnamon 1 · Tea Tree 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Cedarwood 17 · Cinnamon 9 · Tea Tree 4 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

FAQ

How do I use post-holiday restart in a diffuser?
Add Cedarwood 4 · Cinnamon 2 · Tea Tree 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of cedarwood?
Swap cedarwood for sandalwood or patchouli — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: sandalwood is creamy, smooth and long-lasting.
When is the best time to use post-holiday restart?
Made for chilly days, cold rain, Tet (the Lunar New Year) and Christmas; use it in the living room or bedroom.
