grandma's house warmth

3 oils · Citrus · Woody · Warm spice · code BL-2834

Sweet orange goes first, sweet and fresh like the oranges grandma peeled for you, cedarwood adds dry wood like her old table and chairs, and a drop of cinnamon is warm like her kitchen. Good for the living room on visits back to the countryside or when you miss home. Start the diffuser in the afternoon while brewing tea; for larger rooms double it, and for more warmth add 1 drop of cinnamon.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Sweet Orange 3 · Cedarwood 2 · Cinnamon 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

FAQ

How do I use grandma's house warmth in a diffuser?
Add Sweet Orange 3 · Cedarwood 2 · Cinnamon 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of sweet orange?
Swap sweet orange for lemon or bergamot — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use grandma's house warmth?
Made for chilly days, cold rain, Tet (the Lunar New Year) and Christmas; use it in the living room or bedroom.
