post-buffet happy sigh

2 oils · Floral · Minty · code BL-0577

Buffet done, leaning back in your chair with a satisfied sigh. Six drops of spearmint open with a sweet, cool chewing-gum note, very fresh and fun; four drops of Roman chamomile follow with gentle, honeyed sweet apple. Good for the living room after a party, when food smells are still hanging around. Turn on the diffuser as you clear the table so the space gets fresh again fast.

How it unfolds

On opening. Spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Spearmint 6 · Roman Chamomile 4 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Spearmint 3 · Roman Chamomile 2 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Spearmint 18 · Roman Chamomile 12 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use post-buffet happy sigh in a diffuser?
Add Spearmint 6 · Roman Chamomile 4 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of spearmint?
Swap spearmint for peppermint — same minty family. The blend will shift a little: peppermint is cool, sharp and clean.
When is the best time to use post-buffet happy sigh?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
