Out of coffee, or trying to cut back? Here's your backup plan. Lime and bergamot open with a bright, tangy citrus wave, then a single drop of thyme lays down a warm, spicy herbal streak at the end. Great for your desk in the morning, alongside a glass of warm water. Thyme is quite strong, so stick to exactly 1 drop and don't get greedy.

On opening. Lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lime and Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Thyme can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
