orange-powered, no yawning

4 oils · Citrus · Woody · code BL-1180

Guaranteed no yawning, even after a short night's sleep. Four drops of sweet orange open fresh and sweet, three drops of lime add a green tang, two drops of bergamot bring clean citrus, and a single drop of juniper leaves a green, resinous streak. Perfect for the morning after a late night. These citrus oils evaporate quickly, so run the diffuser intermittently to keep the scent even.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Juniper (green and berry-like, with clean resinous wood) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use orange-powered, no yawning in a diffuser?
Add Sweet Orange 4 · Lime 3 · Bergamot 2 · Juniper 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of sweet orange?
Swap sweet orange for lemon or lemongrass — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use orange-powered, no yawning?
Best in the morning, early afternoon, or right after a nap; avoid using it close to bedtime.
