overtime, but planned

4 oils · Floral · Herbal · Woody · code BL-1116

Overtime, but with a plan, not the make-it-up-as-you-go kind. Ten drops of lavender lay a soft, gentle base, eight drops of rosemary add alert green notes, and clary sage and cedarwood, five drops each, bring warm, sweet herbs and dry wood. Mix a bottle ahead to keep at the office, five drops at a time. Great for an office or desk late in the evening.

How it unfolds

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use overtime, but planned in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 3 · Rosemary 2 · Clary Sage 1 · Cedarwood 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use overtime, but planned?
Run it at your desk or study corner in cycles of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off, so your nose does not tune the scent out.
