old playlist on repeat

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-1842

Jasmine leads like a familiar melody, sandalwood is warm and smooth, bergamot fresh, and vanilla lightly sweet like the crackle of a vinyl record. A gently nostalgic scent, perfect for evenings listening to old songs. Hit play and let the memories come back one track at a time. Premix the twenty-two drops; use 5 drops in the diffuser, or dilute it for a roller bottle.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Jasmine (white-floral, sweet, heady and alluring) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting); vanilla (creamy, sweet and cozy) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Jasmine 4 · Sandalwood 2 · Bergamot 1 · Vanilla 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Jasmine 2 · Sandalwood 1 · Bergamot 1 · Vanilla 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Jasmine 14 · Sandalwood 8 · Bergamot 5 · Vanilla 3 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use old playlist on repeat in a diffuser?
Add Jasmine 4 · Sandalwood 2 · Bergamot 1 · Vanilla 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of jasmine?
Swap jasmine for lavender or geranium — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: lavender is floral-herbal, clean and soothing.
When is the best time to use old playlist on repeat?
Diffuse it in a room, or mix a roller to dab on your wrists (diluted in a carrier oil).
