Five oils in nearly equal parts make for a well-rounded scent: green tea tree, soft lavender and fresh lemongrass up front, then citronella and eucalyptus push in bold and cool notes. Made for evening joggers in the park, when the paths are shaded by trees. Dilute into a small spray and mist your shirt and socks before your run; the scent fades after about an hour, so bring it along to reapply.

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); citronella (strong, green and slightly lemony); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
