Low plastic stools, a glass of iced tea and mosquitoes under the table: a classic street-side cafe scene. Citronella, lemongrass and tea tree split the main role equally, bold grass, fresh tang and green-clean; lavender and peppermint make it softer and cooler. Dilute into a mini pocket spray and mist your ankles and hems before sitting down. The scent fades after about an hour, so bring it along to reapply.

On opening. Citronella (strong, green and slightly lemony); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); tea tree (green, medicinal and clean); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
