The full-option recipe: lavender, tea tree and citronella split most of it evenly, lemongrass layers on freshness, and geranium adds a dot of green rose at the end. Strong and clear, great for mixing one bottle for the whole family to use all mosquito season. Each time, take 6–8 drops of the mix for the living room diffuser; for bedrooms, 3–4 drops is enough to keep it from getting overwhelming.

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean); citronella (strong, green and slightly lemony); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
