night rain, duvet pulled up

4 oils · Floral · Herbal · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0051

Juniper opens with a fresh conifer scent like a forest after rain, vanilla comes along to make everything sweet and warm again, and clary sage and lavender scatter a smooth herbal note in the middle. The scent is cool and warm at once, like listening to rain on the porch while you're tucked up in bed. On rainy nights the air is already humid, so run the diffuser intermittently rather than continuously.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Juniper (green and berry-like, with clean resinous wood); clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Vanilla (creamy, sweet and cozy) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

FAQ

How do I use night rain, duvet pulled up in a diffuser?
Add Juniper 3 · Vanilla 3 · Clary Sage 2 · Lavender 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of juniper?
Swap juniper for cedarwood or sandalwood — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use night rain, duvet pulled up?
Run the diffuser for 20–30 minutes before bed with the door closed, then switch it off or set a timer when you get into bed.
