night owl with taste

4 oils · Floral · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-1918

Four oils at five drops each: rich jasmine, warm earthy patchouli, resinous frankincense and rooty myrrh. A deep night scent, perfect for people who stay up late doing creative work. Lamp on, headphones in, ideas flowing; the world is asleep, and that's when you do your best work. Premix the 20-drop batch; use 4 drops in the diffuser on your desk, or make a roller bottle for the evening.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Jasmine (white-floral, sweet, heady and alluring) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet); frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still); myrrh (bittersweet, resinous, deep and classic) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Jasmine 2 · Patchouli 2 · Frankincense 2 · Myrrh 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Jasmine 1 · Patchouli 1 · Frankincense 1 · Myrrh 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Jasmine 8 · Patchouli 8 · Frankincense 8 · Myrrh 8 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use night owl with taste in a diffuser?
Add Jasmine 2 · Patchouli 2 · Frankincense 2 · Myrrh 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of jasmine?
Swap jasmine for lavender or geranium — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: lavender is floral-herbal, clean and soothing.
When is the best time to use night owl with taste?
Diffuse it in a room, or mix a roller to dab on your wrists (diluted in a carrier oil).
