nice, but don't push it

4 oils · Floral · Woody · code BL-1861

Lavender and geranium split evenly at ten drops each, soft and fresh pink, but patchouli and sandalwood in the base remind you everyone has limits. Sweet by default, firm when needed. Relaxing yet deep, it suits the living room in the evening. Premix the 30-drop batch; use 5 drops each time, and add more lavender when you want to feel lighter.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet); sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Lavender 3 · Geranium 3 · Patchouli 1 · Sandalwood 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Lavender 2 · Geranium 2 · Patchouli 1 · Sandalwood 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Lavender 10 · Geranium 10 · Patchouli 5 · Sandalwood 5 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use nice, but don't push it in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 3 · Geranium 3 · Patchouli 1 · Sandalwood 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for ylang ylang or Roman chamomile — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: ylang ylang is rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral.
When is the best time to use nice, but don't push it?
Diffuse it in a room, or mix a roller to dab on your wrists (diluted in a carrier oil).
