morning by Hanoi's West Lake

4 oils · Floral · Minty · Woody · code BL-0462

Picture an early-morning walk around West Lake in Hanoi, the breeze carrying the smell of leaves. Pine and cedarwood build a dry, green wood base, lavender adds cool flowers, and spearmint dots in a very light, sweet coolness. The four oils get two drops each, balanced and easygoing. Good for a study desk or workspace where you need a clear head without tension; run it for about 30 minutes, then take a break.

How it unfolds

On opening. Spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Pine (green and resinous, like a forest walk); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

FAQ

How do I use morning by Hanoi's West Lake in a diffuser?
Add Pine 2 · Cedarwood 2 · Lavender 2 · Spearmint 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of pine?
Swap pine for sandalwood or patchouli — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: sandalwood is creamy, smooth and long-lasting.
When is the best time to use morning by Hanoi's West Lake?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
