lakeside sunset check-in

4 oils · Citrus · Herbal · code BL-2526

Afternoons by the lake watching the sunset: breezy, but the mosquitoes by the water are out in force. Citronella leads with bold grass, lemongrass and lemon make it zingy, and eucalyptus adds a cool touch to keep things tidy. Dilute it into a small pocket spray and mist your pant hems and bag before leaving home. At home, use the diffuser for a lake-facing balcony.

How it unfolds

On opening. Citronella (strong, green and slightly lemony); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); lemon (fresh, bright and clean); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use lakeside sunset check-in in a diffuser?
Add Citronella 3 · Lemongrass 2 · Lemon 2 · Eucalyptus 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of citronella?
Swap citronella for rosemary or tea tree — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use lakeside sunset check-in?
Diffuse it on the balcony, porch or in the bedroom in the evening; keep the window screens shut for best results.
