The playlist from your 3 years of high school comes back on, and the memories rush in. Two drops of ylang-ylang are sweet, while sweet orange, patchouli and thyme, one drop each, add fresh orange, warm earth and spicy herbs. The scent is nostalgic with a slightly unusual twist, great for the bedroom at night while flipping through old photo albums. For a gentler version, leave out the thyme.

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral); thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Thyme can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
