How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); pink pepper (lightly spicy, sparkling and berry-like) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Betel leaf (green and peppery, a little smoky); jasmine (white-floral, sweet, heady and alluring) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Safety

Photosensitizing Skin irritant

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Betel Leaf can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use grandma's vintage glamour in a diffuser?
Add Bergamot 2 · Betel Leaf 2 · Jasmine 1 · Pink Pepper 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of bergamot?
Swap bergamot for lemon or sweet orange — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use grandma's vintage glamour?
Diffuse it in a room, or mix a roller to dab on your wrists (diluted in a carrier oil).
