Back from riding a scooter in the cold, your face still stinging. Spearmint opens soft and sweet-cool, cinnamon follows with warm spice, and eucalyptus and pine add a breath of forest leaves. Both alert and warm, good for the entryway and living room right when you get home. Run the diffuser while you change and make a cup of ginger tea; for more warmth, raise cinnamon to 3 drops.

On opening. Spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm); pine (green and resinous, like a forest walk) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Cinnamon can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
