Blend recipes · Summer fresh

fresh-squeezed 7am

4 oils · Citrus · Minty · code BL-2898

Sweet orange and lemon feel like squeezing a glass of orange juice at seven in the morning: sweet, tart and very awake. Lime adds a green-peel note, and a single drop of peppermint leaves a light cool finish. Great for the kitchen or breakfast table while everyone gets ready for work and school. Switch it on as soon as you wake up; 15–20 minutes is enough to wake the whole room.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); lemon (fresh, bright and clean); lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Sweet Orange 4 · Lemon 3 · Lime 2 · Peppermint 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

Sweet Orange 12 · Lemon 9 · Lime 6 · Peppermint 3 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Lemon and Lime can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use fresh-squeezed 7am in a diffuser?
Add Sweet Orange 4 · Lemon 3 · Lime 2 · Peppermint 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of sweet orange?
Swap sweet orange for bergamot or lemongrass — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: bergamot is light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style.
When is the best time to use fresh-squeezed 7am?
Use it at midday, in hot rooms, or after coming in from outside; you can also mix a room spray for a quick cool-down.
