Blend recipes · Cozy & warm

first homemade cookies

3 oils · Minty · Resinous & sweet · Warm spice · code BL-2674

Ceylon cassia and vanilla split it evenly, sweet and warm like your very first batch of cookies fresh from the oven; one drop of peppermint adds a surprise cool note, like a mint chocolate chip hidden inside. Good for the kitchen or living room on weekend afternoons. Keep the diffuser going while you mix the dough; not a fan of the cool note? Skip the peppermint for a purer cookie scent.

How it unfolds

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Ceylon cassia (sweet, softly spicy and warm) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Vanilla (creamy, sweet and cozy) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Ceylon Cassia 4 · Vanilla 4 · Peppermint 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Ceylon Cassia 2 · Vanilla 2 · Peppermint 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Ceylon Cassia 13 · Vanilla 13 · Peppermint 3 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Skin irritant

FAQ

How do I use first homemade cookies in a diffuser?
Add Ceylon Cassia 4 · Vanilla 4 · Peppermint 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of Ceylon cassia?
Swap Ceylon cassia for cinnamon or coriander — same warm spice family. The blend will shift a little: cinnamon is spicy-sweet, hot and warm.
When is the best time to use first homemade cookies?
Made for chilly days, cold rain, Tet (the Lunar New Year) and Christmas; use it in the living room or bedroom.
