Blend recipes · Cozy & warm

holiday mood, early start

3 oils · Citrus · Minty · Warm spice · code BL-2696

It is only November and you already want Christmas music. Peppermint opens cool like a candy cane, sweet orange adds cheer, and one drop of Ceylon cassia brings soft, sweet warmth. Good for the living room or desk during the countdown to the holidays. Start the diffuser as you put on your holiday playlist; for more warmth, cut peppermint to 2 drops.

How it unfolds

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Ceylon cassia (sweet, softly spicy and warm) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use holiday mood, early start in a diffuser?
Add Peppermint 3 · Sweet Orange 2 · Ceylon Cassia 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of peppermint?
Swap peppermint for spearmint — same minty family. The blend will shift a little: spearmint is sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum.
When is the best time to use holiday mood, early start?
Made for chilly days, cold rain, Tet (the Lunar New Year) and Christmas; use it in the living room or bedroom.
