Deadline met, file sent, and a big sigh of relief. Three drops of peppermint open icy cool, lavender and lemon, two drops each, add gentle herbs and fresh tang, and a single drop of cedarwood keeps a dry wood base. Great for a desk during the final push. If you're working late, cut peppermint to two drops so it's easier to fall asleep afterward.

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
