As it settles. Cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet); cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.
