Soft lavender and chamomile on warm root, cooling a head that runs hot.
When your brain is overheating, let warm smilax root form the base, while lavender and blue chamomile gently cool things down, and a drop of bergamot adds a soft brightness. Great for the home office after a stressful stretch or the bedroom early in the evening. Add a few drops to the diffuser, drink a glass of cool water and close your eyes for five minutes.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); blue chamomile (deeply herbal, bittersweet and a little smoky) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Smilax (warm, earthy and rooty, lightly sweet and rustic) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
