brain at full speed

3 oils · Citrus · Herbal · code BL-3297

Camphor, herbs and lemon; razor-sharp alertness.

Brain running at full speed: rosemary leads, green and sharp, lemon is fresh and bright, and a drop of camphor adds a cool note, for razor-sharp alertness. Great for a study desk, the office or a practice exam room at home. Run it for only about 20 minutes, then turn it off; if it feels strong, skip the camphor and add one drop of lemon.

How it unfolds

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); lemon (fresh, bright and clean); camphor (icy, strong and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Rosemary 3 · Lemon 2 · Camphor 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Rosemary 2 · Lemon 2 · Camphor 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Rosemary 15 · Lemon 10 · Camphor 5 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Photosensitizing Skin irritant

Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Camphor can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use brain at full speed in a diffuser?
Add Rosemary 3 · Lemon 2 · Camphor 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of rosemary?
Swap rosemary for eucalyptus or tea tree — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: eucalyptus is strong, cool and wide open.
When is the best time to use brain at full speed?
Run it at your desk or study corner in cycles of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off, so your nose does not tune the scent out.
