Ten at night, your phone lights up: a message from the boss. Three drops of lavender make a soft floral base, basil adds sweet, spicy green leaf, and bergamot sprinkles on slightly tea-like peel. Good for the bedroom late at night. Read it, decide to reply tomorrow morning, turn on the diffuser, and put your phone face down on the table.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
