Third draft already; this time the boss has to approve it. Four drops of frankincense lay a steady, warm resin base, three drops of bergamot add fresh citrus, two drops of clary sage bring sweet herbs, and a single drop of ylang ylang adds a light, sweet floral touch. Great for a home office during final edits. Take a deep breath before you hit send, then let it go.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried); ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
