Hooked on the present moment, with basil as the note that makes the pun come true. Five drops of lemon open tangy and bright, basil follows green, slightly peppery and sweet like a leaf just picked, and cypress closes with a cool, coniferous freshness. Great in the kitchen or at a desk in the morning. For a bit more depth, add a drop of frankincense.

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise); cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
