One hug to ease the missing. Three drops of bergamot are fresh and clean, ylang-ylang and lime, two drops each, bring sweet yellow flowers and green tartness, and one drop of jasmine adds sweetness. The scent is fresh, adorable and a little clingy, great for the bedroom or the living room in the evening. For a sweeter version, raise the jasmine to 2 and let the flowers take the lead.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral); jasmine (white-floral, sweet, heady and alluring) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Bergamot and Lime can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
