Ylang ylang, jasmine and bergamot at three drops each give a floral that's sweet but not heavy, since bergamot makes it airier and clearer. It feels like your heart just fluttered a little, not quite swooning yet. Great for afternoons at home when the room needs a touch of romance. In hot weather, add one drop of bergamot; in cold weather, add one drop of ylang ylang.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral); jasmine (white-floral, sweet, heady and alluring) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
