The main beat belongs to rich, sweet ylang ylang, sandalwood catches it with a soft woody base, bergamot keeps the scent airy, and two drops of jasmine add a white glow at the end. No reason needed, just feeling good being next to each other. Great for the living room in the evening. Twenty drops is best premixed; use 5 drops at a time in a diffuser for a room of about 20 m².

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral); jasmine (white-floral, sweet, heady and alluring) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
