after-class breather

3 oils · Floral · Herbal · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0913

School's out, you toss your bag down and sit still for ten minutes before homework. Geranium, frankincense, and tea tree get five drops each: green rose, warm resin, and a clean green streak like freshly rinsed leaves. Great for a study room or a meditation spot at home. If tea tree feels a bit sharp for you, reduce it to three drops and raise geranium to six.

How it unfolds

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Geranium 3 · Frankincense 3 · Tea Tree 3 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Geranium 2 · Frankincense 2 · Tea Tree 2 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Geranium 10 · Frankincense 10 · Tea Tree 10 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use after-class breather in a diffuser?
Add Geranium 3 · Frankincense 3 · Tea Tree 3 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of geranium?
Swap geranium for lavender or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: lavender is floral-herbal, clean and soothing.
When is the best time to use after-class breather?
Use it while meditating, doing yoga, journaling, or simply sitting still for 10 minutes without your phone.
