Blend recipes · Energy & alertness
Hitting the trail at four in the morning to catch the sunrise. Three drops of tea tree open with a clean green streak, while two drops each of lemongrass, rosemary and juniper add zesty freshness, sharp green and resinous conifer. Good for the bedroom while you pack for an early trip. Put a drop on a handkerchief to bring along on the road.

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Juniper (green and berry-like, with clean resinous wood) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
