Vanilla makes up most of the blend, so the first breath is warm and sweet like a cake fresh out of the oven; ylang ylang follows full of florals, while geranium and bergamot, one drop each, keep it from getting cloying. Perfect for a small dinner celebrating a hundred days, with candles and a homemade cake. Start diffusing about 15 minutes before your partner arrives; turn it off when you serve so it doesn't mix with the food.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral); geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Vanilla (creamy, sweet and cozy) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
