weekend candle making

4 oils · Floral · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0274

Wax, wicks and glass jars spread across the table on the weekend. Lavender leads, geranium adds green rose, and frankincense and cedarwood share the base equally with warm resin and dry wood. The scent is round and long-lasting, perfect for the living room or a crafting corner. The ratio above is good for mixing a bottle ahead of time; when using it in a diffuser, just 5 drops of the mix each time is enough.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still); cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser

FAQ

How do I use weekend candle making in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 3 · Geranium 2 · Frankincense 2 · Cedarwood 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for ylang ylang or Roman chamomile — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: ylang ylang is rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral.
When is the best time to use weekend candle making?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
