the whole family perked up

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · code BL-1543

The whole family smelling good and feeling happy. Ten drops of fresh, juicy sweet orange take charge, while bergamot and ylang-ylang, five drops each, add elegant citrus and sweet yellow flowers. A scent everyone loves, from little kids to grandparents. This ratio is enough for several sessions in the family living room; use 5 to 6 drops at a time, and switch it on when everyone gathers in the evening.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use the whole family perked up in a diffuser?
Add Sweet Orange 4 · Bergamot 2 · Ylang Ylang 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of sweet orange?
Swap sweet orange for lemon or lemongrass — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use the whole family perked up?
Use it when guests are coming, on weekends, after tidying the house, or whenever you want a little good mood.
