the perfect hour for a break

3 oils · Herbal · Woody · code BL-0219

Three oils split evenly at thirty drops each: green, sharp rosemary opens, warm, sweet clary sage sits in the middle, and clean, dry cedarwood forms the base. The scent is natural, alert yet relaxed, perfect for a home office or living room in the late afternoon. This is a bottle-mixing amount; use 6 drops of the mix each time, and pick the moment you feel you need a break, not when the work is done.

How it unfolds

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Cedarwood 3 · Rosemary 3 · Clary Sage 3 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Cedarwood 2 · Rosemary 2 · Clary Sage 2 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Cedarwood 10 · Rosemary 10 · Clary Sage 10 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use the perfect hour for a break in a diffuser?
Add Cedarwood 3 · Rosemary 3 · Clary Sage 3 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of cedarwood?
Swap cedarwood for sandalwood or patchouli — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: sandalwood is creamy, smooth and long-lasting.
When is the best time to use the perfect hour for a break?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
