Hardworking in a way that looks suspicious, so much that your family asks what's going on. Five drops of lavender lay a gentle herbal base, spearmint and rosemary, two drops each, add sweet coolness and sharp green notes, and a single drop of sweet orange leaves a cheerful freshness. Great for afternoons of studying without anyone having to remind you. For more alertness, reduce lavender to four drops.

On opening. Spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
