Geranium is up front, soft and fresh like a just-arranged bunch of roses and leaves, lime and sweet orange add sunshine, and one drop of lemongrass keeps a green-grass note. Cheerful without being loud, it works all week in the living room or at your desk. Run it about 20 minutes every morning; on weekends, add one more drop of sweet orange for extra buzz.

On opening. Lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lime can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
