On opening. Lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced); basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lime can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
