Mandarin makes up the largest share, so the opening is juicy and sweet like a freshly blended smoothie, with sweet orange and lime boosting the cheerful mood. Spearmint and lemongrass at the end add a cool, green-grass finish. Great for the kitchen, the living room, or afternoons when the whole family gathers. Mix a full bottle using this ratio and add 5–6 drops to the diffuser each time.

On opening. Mandarin (gently sweet, softer than orange); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh); spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lime can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
