Home from the beach, skin still hot: spearmint opens sweet and cool, gentle lavender softens things, and eucalyptus adds some airiness. The scent feels calming, great for a bedroom at night or the bathroom after a trip. It is a bottle recipe, 4–5 drops each time; switch it on while you take a cool shower and change into cotton clothes.

On opening. Spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
