sudden urge to organize

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · Woody · code BL-1106

Suddenly, out of nowhere, you're organized, even rearranging the whole bookshelf. Cypress, lavender, lemon, and tea tree get one drop each: cool needles, gentle herbs, fresh tang, and a clean green streak. A small recipe for a study desk or a freshly tidied workspace. If you're cleaning a whole large room, double each oil so the fresh feeling fills the space.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean); tea tree (green, medicinal and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use sudden urge to organize in a diffuser?
Add Cypress 1 · Lavender 1 · Lemon 1 · Tea Tree 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of cypress?
Swap cypress for cedarwood or sandalwood — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use sudden urge to organize?
Run it at your desk or study corner in cycles of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off, so your nose does not tune the scent out.
